I can see this regarding VAR , the referees are now under less pressure because they have Var to cover for them, and that may be why the refs have actually been quite non existent in this World cup, which is a good thing no?.
I mean it is not perfect but it has become a lot more difficult for a ref to become the focal point of a game the way they used to or are some missing the referee making mistakes and ruining a game .

While their stopping the game they may as well squeeze an NFL type commercial break in when VAR is triggered, this would bring in more revenue for all clubs to spend on players its a WIN WIN.

The Ramos incident was actually not a penalty at all. Watch Ramos. He's a sneaky fucker and rightly doesn't win the pen as he uses his body weight to create a supposed foul. He sees himse!f as a master of the dark arts, but he rightly got found out here, the cunt.

Phantom - that's not how VAR works... the people in Moscow look at it and tell ref whether it MAY be an obvious mistake that he's made and that he should look at it.
They looked at it and told him there was not an obvious mistake. I think they were right too. It was not an obvious error, there was contact but it wasn't like the assaults on Kane.

Poor decision making by var officials or ref. He should at least have checked that pen appeal at the end on his little monitor.

Bar will never be perfect as there are different interpretations of the rules for different people in many cases. Some people's went down too easily is another person's he was touched so he's entitled (which i inherently disagree with)

It won't erase all "mistakes" like in other sports such as rugby. It WILL cut out many if the refereeing fuck ups
I'm ALL for it. I'm sick of west ham being screwed over with shitty decisions from arrogant twat refs. 20+ big decisions costing us potential champs league in 15-16 right through to last year and the shit at Bournemouth.
